While that headline seems a little far fetched, it's true. It can't happen tomorrow or next week...but over time with original pure scientific research it can happen. We can discover new sources of energy and ways of using them that we can't even imagine today. That was the way that the Apollo Project's commitment to sending a man to the moon and bringing him home alive impacted us at home. And an entire generation of scientists and achievements flowed out that commitment that we, today, take for granted.
